Calvin Ridley and Da'Ron Payne entering NFL Draft

Now the running back, on the heels of Alabama's fifth national title under head coach Nick Saban, is forgoing his senior season with the Crimson Tide. This was the third national championship Ridley had played in during his career with the Crimson Tide.

The Alabama junior receiver will forgo his final season of college eligibility and enter the 2018 National Football League draft, Ridley announced on Twitter. Having been thoroughly prepared for that next step, I am truly ready, because in the beginning, I chose THE RIGHT SCHOOL.

In those games he caught 15 passes for 82 yards and a touchdown.

Damien Harris is coming off of his second straight 1,000 yard campaign. Coach Saban, thank you for building winning football teams by turning good players into great ones, and talented boys into successful men with a goal.

Ranked No. 3 by Kiper in his draft-eligible position rankings, Payne had six tackles against Georgia in the title game and a key interception and a touchdown reception against Clemson in the Sugar Bowl.

Considered by most to be the top receiver in the class, Ridley's numbers at Bama were directly impacted by the team's run-first offense.

Alabama football star Calvin Ridley will be ending his college career on a high note.

Scarbrough averaged 5.7 yards per carry over his three years at Alabama.
