Beerus Makes His Big Entrance in New Dragon Ball FighterZ Trailer

Pretty much everyone in the fighting game community is excited for it, as are millions of other DBZ fans who will potentially be incorporated into that community.

The game was developed by Arc System Works and will be distributed by Bandai Namco.

As announced last month, pre-ordering "Dragon Ball FighterZ" will grant PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users early access to the public beta of the game.

Sean Schemmel, who voices Goku, and Christopher Sabat, who voices his longtime rival Vegeta, started talking smack in a Vegeta-themed Twitter thread on January 6. Just power up the console, make sure you're connected online, scroll on over to the Xbox Store and then search up Dragon Ball FighterZ. These characteristics, in addition to his antagonist status, allowed Beerus to maintain a sizeable fanbase throughout the years.

SYFY WIRE's Jackie Jennings walks us through everything you (maybe) didn't know about Dragon Ball Z, and whether you're a newbie or a hardcore fan, there's a ton of exciting information about the anime series to be found below.

Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed the PC requirements for their upcoming fighter, giving gamers the heads up on specification requirements before the games open beta release on January 13th. If you don't have the game pre-ordered, you'll be able to jump into the action starting on January 14th (also at midnight).

The open beta will feature 11 playable characters across seven different stages.
