It's practice, but it's a promising sign to see Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski on the gridiron.
The New England Patriots headed indoors Friday for a non-padded walkthrough inside the Empower Field House.
The Patriots admitted that Gronkowski would not be able to play if the game was Sunday, but fortunately Gronk has an extra week to be ready for Super Bowl LII against the Philadelphia Eagles in Minneapolis.
The only Patriot missing was defensive tackle Malcom Brown, who hasn't practiced since Wednesday and was listed "questionable" with a foot injury.
Both team returned to their practice fields Thursday for the first time since their conference championship victories, but injury reports for those practices are not yet available. Brady suffered a cut in his hand in last week's practice, but he still led the Patriots past the Jaguars. Safety Devin McCourty (shoulder), running back Mike Gillislee (knee) and offensive lineman LaAdrian Waddle (knee) were all limited participants.
