'Last Jedi' Director Reveals The First Word Uttered In The Film

Daisy will be in the latest movie Star Wars: The Last Jedi and is due to be in the ninth episode. A newly released behind-the-scenes video released by Lucasfilm offers fans a glimpse at the actress working alongside director Rian Johnson and the film's stunt team to flawless her lightsaber skills.

"When I did sign up I did sign up for three films... and that's where I sort of saw the story ending, JJ (Abrams, The Force Awakens director) said the same thing", the British actress told the Press Association in Los Angeles. The padawan then realizes she has Luke's lightsaber in her satchel and switches her focus. "It's like a psychological thing of knowing you can do it more and more and more". Given that the title of the movie is singular, what's worth noting is that Johnson's movie will be built around a master-and-apprentice dynamic: Rey is being trained by Luke Skywalker, while Kylo Ren furthers his sinister tutelage under Supreme Leader Snoke.

Asked if she would be willing to be part of a far-flung future "Star Wars" film that would be directed by someone who's watching the current trilogy from the audience, Ridley said, "Who knows?" "And these stunt guys are very disciplined so you can't half-ass it".

As the release date of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" draws near, its cast and crew are being wheeled around publications to promote the upcoming film.

Disney, Lucasfilm, and the cast are getting the hype machine into overdrive ahead of the film's December 15 release.
