Kelly Clarkson's Home Was Burglarized

"This is my guardian angel", she said.

Before Kehlani accepted her "Rule Breaker" award at Billboard's Women in Music 2017, she was warmly introduced by Nick Cannon and a video in which G-Eazy said, "She'll break every rule and change the world because of it".

"We got robbed last night", she told a reporter from Extra.

Kelly Clarkson arrives at the Billboard Women in Music event on Thursday, where she revealed her home had recently been burglarized.

"Yeah, it was insane, we got here and our whole house was like bashed in, it was insane", she adds.

She said burglars got away with "materialistic things we didn't care about...the guy was in our kids' room, so that was a little weird".

Kelly has children River Rose, three, and Remington Alexander, 19 months with her husband Brandon Blackstock.

She added: "I worked really hard on my music this year and I'm really excited to put it all together".

Kelly also admitted she was "shocked" to hear of her Grammy nomination, "I thought I would be eligible the next year... but the song was released in enough time, and the category I'm in all the artists are killer".

'I think if we start it at that young age, and you start molding people and growing to these very elevated individuals that help elevate society. I really am. I think right now, especially with everything going on in my industry, it's empowering to see the voice women have right now.
