You can add up to 100 photos or videos to a single highlight and there's no limit to how many highlights you can post. If you prefer the old system, you can turn off Stories Archive altogether. Basically, if you use Stories a lot, you can make compilation Stories from past videos you have shared. Highlight will appear as a circle on user's profile. These new features are called as Stories Highlights and Stories Archive.
Instagram is also extending its Stories feature with a new Stories Highlights capability. Under this feature your archived stories will highlight over your profile.
Another feature Instagram launched today is Story Highlights. When your regular Stories expire after 24 hours, they will be automatically archived. In your Stories Archive, your stories will appear in a grid with the most recent stories at the bottom.
During those moments when you feel like you've made flawless Instagram Stories, you wish you could save it forever. On your profile there is an Archive button that will show you your post archive and allow you to switch to your Stories Archive.
From there, you can re-live your favourite stories (#memories).
Let's be honest, we're all addicted to Instagram.
Obviously, we're all over Instagram Stories these days.
Both features are available on the latest update of the app.
Once you do this, your story highlight will appear as a story on your profile which can be viewed by anyone who on taps on it. So from today you can save your stories for a period more than 24 hours.
Last week, Instagram released another new update, which allows users to edit pictures that their friends send them through direct messaging. If you have comments regarding the new update do share them below in comments section. You can include the same number of features as you need from your chronicle and they'll show up as a flat parchment bar over your photograph lattice.
