Somewhat heavier snow is likely in some areas, especially in the Greater Toronto Area where a snowfall warning is in effect. "Snow at times heavy will continue this evening, enhanced by heavy snow bands off of Lake Ontario".
Prince Edward Island RCMP asked drivers to stay off the roads as conditions deteriorated on Monday afternoon, and Marine Atlantic has cancelled ferry crossings until Wednesday.
"More snow is on the way for this evening and overnight".
