Wentworth Miller is Leaving 'Legends of Tomorrow' & 'The Flash'

Wentworth Miller has announced his departure from the Arrowverse after almost 5 years of playing the character, Captain Cold, throughout The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

"Currently shooting some of my final episodes as "Captain Cold/Leonard Snart" on the CW's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW and THE FLASH," Wentworth said in the post.

Wentworth's Snart has come a long way since his introduction to the Arrowverse in 2014 with his first appearance as one of Barry Allen's first adversaries in The Flash.

Miller posted on Instagram over the weekend that he was wrapping up his last episodes of the Legends of Tomorrow andThe Flash.

Cold became a series regular for the first season of Legends of Tomorrow as a member of the crew on the Waverider alongside fellow Rogue Mick Rory. He reprised his part of Michael Scofield earlier this year on Fox's revived "Prison Break". "It's been an opportunity, an education, and a f-cking blast". Colton Haynes was on Arrow for a while, multiple characters in the shows are gay or bisexual, including Police Captain David Singh on The Flash and Sara Lance from Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. 90% of the TV shows I watch are found on those two networks.

Captain Cold has always been a favorite on the series and earned a spot on Legends of Tomorrow where he was partnered with his former Prison Break co-star Dominic Purcell.
