Viral sensation April the giraffe may be pregnant again

He finally emerged on April 15, weeks after Animal Adventure Park first began broadcasting from April's stall, promising viewers she was close to giving birth.

April, 15, went viral earlier this year when the zoo in Harpursville, New York, launched a livestream so that millions of fans across the world could follow her pregnancy.

The giraffe cam was on for 65 days to watch April's pregnancy, which lasted over 16 months.

Animal Adventure Park owner Jordan Patch appeared on Good Morning America on November 9, 2017, and could neither confirm nor deny the rumors, fueling the speculation that another little one was on the way. "You tell me", he said during the interview with Good Morning America.

April's pregnancy and baby Tajiri's birth made the Animal Adventure Animal Park, just outside of Binghamton, an worldwide sensation. "I can not confirm nor deny the possibility of another pregnancy", he teased. "Are we ready for another giraffe cam, world?" he asked.

To say April the Giraffe went viral a year ago is putting it mildly. Animal Adventure Park runs a live camera feed every day of the week between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. ET.

"Tajiri is a word in Swahili that means hope", Patch explained back in May when the name was announced.

In the meantime, April has her hands full taking care of six-month-old Tajiri, who is already 10 feet tall.

We're all happy to see mother April and her baby calf healthy and we'll keep our fingers crossed for a future baby brother or sister for Tajiri!

Patch also gave an update on Tajiri on GMA.
