Trump moves from Tiger Woods to Jack Nicklaus on golf course

Mr Trump, after a weekend at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, has spent more time on the green than George W Bush did during eight years in office.

The White House said next week President Trump plans to discuss ended of year legislative issues with congressional leaders in D.C.

Talk about walking around with blinders on; Rhodes looked past the words and deeds of his former boss to turn the tables on the president: "Trump has done far more to disrespect our country and our flag than any football player, including these constant attacks on black athletes".

A law enforcement source said Mr. Trump played Saturday with golf legend Jack Nicklaus, a longtime supporter.

Naturally, all of Twitter loved it-and couldn't resist trolling Trump's lie, with many pointing out that the president's had a long history of advocating for Time covers. Oregon Sen. Ron Wyden has asked the White House to provide the names of Trump's golf partners, as well for his clubs to provide visitor logs to get a sense of when Trump has played golf and with whom.

Rhodes was responding to a tweet from Trump Friday about NFL players continuing to disrespect the national anthem.

For comparison's sake, at this point in his presidency, Obama had played 26 rounds of golf, according to CBS News' Mark Knoller. At this point in his presidency, Obama had played 26 rounds. He stopped playing golf in October 2003. "But because I'm going to be working for you, I'm not going to have time to go golfing, believe me".

Trump's golf outings are notable only because he repeatedly mocked Obama for the time he spent on the golf course and said he wouldn't have time if he were elected president. "Believe me. Believe me, folks".
