Marvel Studio president Kevin Feige, in an interview to Den Of Geek, has elaborated on the subject, "There's a reason we have publicly called the first one Infinity War and the second one "untitled", because the movies we were developing were not - certainly there's a connection, there are with all our movies - but it's not a first part and a second part".
Marvel also released a proper teaser trailer-one created to ramp up hype for Infinity War by featuring YouTube reaction video clips and not a frame of new footage-ahead of the first Infinity War trailer on Tuesday.
"[Avengers 4 will] bring things you've never seen in superhero films: a finale", says Feige.
Feige continued saying "There will be two distinct periods".

The first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War officially drops tomorrow, November 29, and to commemorate the momentous moment in Marvel Cinematic Universe history, the studio released a somewhat emotionally manipulative trailer teaser that's sure to hit every Marvel superfan right in the feels.
Many actors including Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr.as Iron Man, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye could be leaving the franchise since many of their contracts are set to end after Avengers 4. "I know it will not be in ways people are expecting".
Shortly after Holland's video spread online thanks to fans capturing the video from Holland's Instagram Stories, Marvel released the poster for real so fans could see it for themselves.
