Smiling Giant Panda Photobombs Melania Trump During Visit to Beijing Zoo

When President Donald Trump departed Asia, the first lady remained behind to tour the Bejing Zoo and the Great Wall of China.

"We had a great time, it was nice to see them again", said Trump of Akie Abe of Japan, Madam Kim Jung-sook of South Korea and Madam Peng Liyuan of China.

Having thanked the kids for the performance, the First Lady presented them with stuffed American bald eagle toys. Mrs Trump gives a gift to Chinese children.

The first lady, clad in designer duds and big sunglasses, said, "This is handsome". As with previous first ladies, Melania has used her platform to champion public causes such as the prevention of childhood bullying and combating the opioid epidemic in the United States.

The US first lady had treated her Chinese audience to some eye-catching looks during her visit, having packed a wardrobe worth a whopping £32,000 (A$55,000, US$42,200) for the trip, according to The Sun.

"We love to live in Washington, we have a very busy life".

Mrs. Trump toured China's famed Great Wall at Mutianyu, where she rode a cable vehicle to a watchtower, signed a guestbook and strolled along a stretch of the wall for about half an hour with a small group of aides and security officers. The piece was custom made for her (alterations included adding sleeves and a longer hemline), but a similar version retails for $2,475.
