Millenium Falcon spotted on golf course

With the help of Google Earth images, eagle-eyed sleuths have found where the Millenium Falcon is parked.

That's right. Some folks casually stumbled upon the Millennium Falcon resting in a field in Surrey, England, next to Barrows Hills Golf Club.

According to the Daily Mail, the unmistakable shape of the enormous prop, surrounded by shipping containers and partially covered by a tarp, was spotted by fans using Google Earth. Han Solo's famous Star Wars spaceship is hidden in plain sight - at least for viewers browsing the satellite views provided by Google Maps.

The Corellian cruiser was recently seen in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and will see Mark Hamill clamber on board during the events of the upcoming sequel, "Star Wars: The Last Jedi". The Falcon was first spotted back in June, but the story has resurfaced this week as eager fans scour the internet for The Last Jedi spoilers.

Anyway, the film, directed by Rian Johnson, will be out on 15 December, so you'll be able to see it in full view, without any corrugated metal surrounding it - how exciting for you and your dog.

Disney and "Star Wars" are notoriously tight-lipped during production and regarding just about anything else before a movie is released, so that makes this find a little special for fans.
