Metro Police officers are investigating a robbery at the Bellagio on the Las Vegas Strip.
The attack happened just after 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Las Vegas Strip property, a Las Vegas Metro Police statement reported.
A masked white man with a gun robbed a cage before fleeing in a silver Chevrolet Cruze, Nevada plates 37D147, police said.
The man went to a poker room cash cage on Tuesday afternoon, demanded money and ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police said the robber entered through the valet area of the Bellagio.
And while officers were soon on the scene, the suspect had already gotten away.

An MGM Resorts International spokeswoman Debra DeShong said resort officials are working with police as the robbery is being investigated. Nobody even realized it was happening.
As mentioned, Capt. Pelletier said that he is confident that investigators have enough clues when combining security video, eye witness accounts, the information about the auto, and more, that the suspect will be apprehended. "Excellent staff, cool under pressure".
On Tuesday, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Capt. John Pelletier said another person accompanied the robber in the auto, but Pelletier said it appeared the person was there "against his will".
Bellagio was at the center of one of the most famous fictional heists.
