Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry to sit, Andre Iguodala 'doubtful' vs. Kings

The Warriors won, 110-95.

Golden State Warriors superstars Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant will miss the team's Monday evening matchup against the Sacramento Kings, according to an official statement from the team.

The 33-year-old has played in 18 of Golden State's 20 games this seaosn, averaging 6.3 points-per-game.

The team announced Curry is dealing with a right hand contusion and Durant will miss his third straight game after aggravating an ankle injury last week against Oklahoma City. Curry and Durant are the Warriors two leading scorers.

The Warriors, who hurt themselves with turnovers on a 2-2 trip immediately before the homestand, limited the mistakes to a total of just 21 in the back-to-back home wins. "That's why I think we won tonight, because we did not shoot a good percentage, but when we limit ourselves to nine, 10 turnovers a night, and we're getting up a shot on nearly every possession, it's definitely in our favor".

The Sacramento Kings (5-14) almost started a rare winning streak against the Los Angeles Clippers, but fell just short in a 97-95 home defeat. "No one can make up for what those two do individually".

"It's great for the fans because they get to see how talented our team really is", Thompson said.

Hield started the Kings' first seven games. Harry Giles is out with a knee injury but no other player is listed on their injury report. The under is a flawless 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams and is 4-0 in the Kings' last four games versus an opponent with a winning record.
