'Jersey Shore' revival hitting MTV in 2018

Maybe this is what they call karma.

All cast members are set to return, except for Giancola, according to Variety.

What we do know, however is that nearly all of the original cast members will be back - with Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Deena Nicole Cortese all on board.

Viewers turned into the new show hoping to learn more about the MTV's big announcement, which was that the original Jersey Shore would be returning (a fact that we've known since July, by the way), but they loathed they new show they had to watch to get the news.

Details about the new MTV show are scarce, but the series will reportedly air in 2018.

The show premiered on Monday night, and needless to say, Jersey Shore stans of the world were not impressed.

MTV has announced that it's bringing back the original cast of "Jersey Shore".

The original "Jersey Shore" ran for six seasons from 2009 to 2012.

The show also spawned the spin-offs "Snooki & JWoww" and "The Pauly D Project".

But until then, MTV, in the paraphrased words of Mean Girls' Regina George: Stop trying to make a Jersey Shore spinoff happen.

NEW SERIES ALERT! The JerseyShore is back in 2018 on MTV. Total Request Live has not offered up the best results thus far but, with American Idol set to return less than a year after Fox cut ties with the singing competition show, it's only a matter of time before we begin hearing rumors of The Hills or Laguna Beach making their own comebacks on the small screen.
