The Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition is available now for $99.99 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One X and Xbox One.
The Atom will be out in early access - included with the pre-purchased pack or "Ultimate Edition" versions of Injustice 2 - on December 12, with the other fighters to be released not long after.
The announcement trailer was revealed at Eleague's Injustice 2 World Championships where Ryan "Dragon" Walker took home the trophy and $150,000 (£114k).
Injustice 2 is further giving us characters outside of the DC universe. There is no telling how everyone's favorite lethal group of turtles will match up against the likes of Batman, Superman, and the other heroes in the game but their addition certainly sparked quite the reaction from the fighting game community.
Joining the combat will be The Atom, Enchantress, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
It's been a quick turnaround for superhero brawler Injustice 2: we found out that the previously console-only fighter was coming to PC last month, and following a short public beta its launch is only three days away. Donatello, Michaelangelo, Raphael, and Leonardo are all going to be added to Injustice 2, but they'll all be controlled as if they were one fighter.
But some Ninja Turtle fans couldn't help but to feel that there was something missing from the big reveal.
It's not long now until it finally releases anyway, it's out on 14 November. Hellboy will be available for PC players at a later time.
