As customers flooded Unglued Friday afternoon, Morken began blowing up balloons to spell out "SHOP SMALL" for her store Saturday morning. "I do believe there are a lot of people from the Main Line that come down".
"I can find things here I can't anywhere else, and I like to touch and feel", Mercer said.
"Our handsome lights are on, and we're putting up our wreaths, and it's actually going to be really great weather, really sunny." said Hyannis Main Street Business Improvement District Executive Director Elizabeth Wurfbain, "The stores are ready they're in the mode of Christmas and the holidays and it's a great first shopping day really after thanksgiving so people are ready and excited".
