Amazon Prime Music has launched for Canadian users as well.
After months of rumours, Amazon confirmed that it's now officially launching its Alexa smart assistant to Canada. Not only are Amazon's Echo devices coming up north, third-party devices like the ecobee4 smart thermostate, UE BLAST and MEGABLAST speakers, and FABRIQ Chorus speakers will also be getting Alexa support.
"We're excited to bring [Alexa] to Canada with an experienced designed from the ground up for our Canadian customers", said Amazon Senior VP Tom Taylor in a statement. The Canadian Alexa voice will exactly be the same as that of the local language of the nation. The BMO skill provides an innovative voice service that gives customers access to banking information such as nearby ATM locations, up-to-date foreign exchange rates and information on BMO products and digital channels. As a quick recap, the Echo Dot is the cheapest of all three, while the Echo is smaller and features a removable shell that can come in different materials.
