Suns fire Earl Watson

The general manager is actively engaged with several teams in trade talks for Bledsoe, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, and the team hopes to make a deal soon.

The Suns had been going back and forth on whether to trade Bledsoe, and The Post reported the Knicks inquired about his availability in July. The Suns released their head coach, Earl Watson, just before Bledsoe's tweet on Sunday. He expressed that sentiment in a tweet that simply stated, " I Dont wanna be here". The organization, sources said, argues that the team hasn't improved since Bledsoe took over the bulk of the playmaking duties.

There are a lot of hair salons in New York City.

The Suns have started the season 0-3, with two huge losses. After two seasons where turnovers plagued the 6-foot-5 point guard, Mudiay has given the ball away just twice across the Nuggets' two matchups.

Assistant Jay Triano was named interim coach.

Triano, from Tillsonburg, Ont., had been serving as an associate coach with Watson. Shortly after Eric Bledsoe's tweet saying "I Dont wanna be here", head coach Earl Watson was sacked. The Suns went 33-85 on his watch. Given that reluctance, it seems like the Knicks are a long-shot to trade for Bledsoe, who would be an upgrade over current Knicks starting point guard Ramon Sessions.

Asked specifically if Bledsoe had played his last game in a Suns uniform, McDonough answered, "I don't know that yet".

Bledsoe is averaging 25.6 FanDuel points per game this year and numberFire's models project him to score 38.3 FanDuel points at a cost of $7,200 versus the Kings on Monday.

The 27-year-old spent the first three years of his National Basketball Association career playing alongside Jordan for the Clippers, and fortunately for him, the team is now short a starting guard with Milos Teodosic out indefinitely with a foot injury, so he could be an option.
