Select Xbox 360 Games Will Run Better on Xbox One X

The initial list will include 13 games from Microsoft's first console.

First announced at E3 this year, and with not much else said since then, OG Xbox backwards compatibility is finally going to come to Xbox One this week, as first reported by IGN.

Online multiplayer isn't supported by these titles, but System link is. Microsoft has revealed to IGN that thirteen original titles will become backward compatible on modern consoles starting Tuesday, October 24. Do you have any of the games in the list or are you gonna buy them digitally? In fact, there are now only four titles that will feature this enhanced support when Xbox One X launches. Users can also place the new Xbox One X both horizontally or vertically.

Along with the Xbox One X and a slew of new Xbox One S bundles hitting retail very, very soon, Microsoft has confirmed that a curated list of original Xbox will be available to download and play in the near future. Will you play it again? Additionally, all the previous Xbox One games will play better on Xbox One X. We'll be joined by special guest James Ohlen, Lead Designer for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and will have giveaways, gameplay, and will be answering your questions throughout the stream. The servers for these games have always been closed but you will still have the option for system link. Most of these games will still be in a 4:3 aspect ratio, however.
