Linkin Park shares Carpool Karaoke video filmed before Chester Bennington's death

An episode of Carpool Karaoke featuring Chester Bennington has been released in memory of the late singer.

Bennington died on July 20 at the age of 41.

"I'm having so much fun, this is the best!", Bennington says at one point between peels of laughter. Bennington had recorded the episode of James Corden's Carpool Karaoke with his bandmates and Community star Ken Jeong one week earlier.

Bennington, the group's lead singer was found dead on July 20, and this episode was filmed July 14.

At the start of the video, Jeong jokes that he had a dream he joined the band and renamed it "LinKEN Park".

As reported by Rolling Stone, Bennington's wife and his family were consulted to ensure they were behind the release of the video on the band's Facebook page.

"I just want my kids to find something that they're passionate about", Bennington said. The episode was filmed a week before Bennington's death.

He turns slightly serious when talking about his children, and how important it has been for him to support his daughters' love of music. They kicked it off with OutKast's "Hey Ya", before moving on to Linkin Park's "Numb" and "In the End", as well as the Red Hot Chili Peppers classic "Under the Bridge". "Lily is curious, like, 'Daddy how do you write songs?"

Linkin Park is putting on a benefit concert at the Hollywood Bowl on October 27 called Linkin Park and Friends Celebrate Life in honor of Chester Bennington.
