Google launches a label "Made for Google"

Cut to 2017, Google has removed the audio jack from its Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL phones, which launched on October 4.

The tech giant has also produced two new versions of its smart speakers, a laptop and a sleek new virtual reality headset known as "Google Daydream View".

"The Google Pixel 2 not only takes the DxOMark Mobile scoring crown with a stunning Overall score of 98, but its video performance improves by 5 points over the original Pixel, putting it at 96 and at the top of our video ranking". We can all remember how long it took to get Pixel Launcher and Google Assistant after being launched on Pixel and Pixel XL. "All you have to do is hold down on the right earbud and say, 'Help me speak Italian, '" wrote Adam Champy, Google's product manager for the Pixel Buds, on the company's blog.

When pre-orders went live during the Google event last week, there was a bit of confusion regarding the free Home Mini you get for purchasing a Pixel 2.

The feature will have to be activated from the Quickbar Settings as it is optional but you may also keep the regular one. The Pixel XL will sell for nearly $850, or $50 more than the iPhone 8 Plus. However, it has been confirmed now as it is written clearly in the footnotes of the Pixel 2 listing on Google store. Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, both the devices are offering in 64 GB and 128 GB storage variants.

The new Home Max, Google's premium smart speaker, is created to compete directly with the Apple HomePod and sophisticated devices from Sonos and Harman Kardon. The products the company unveiled on Wednesday are packed with artificial intelligence that Google has accumulated from those very same services. All this is is Google implementing more, optional safety features. For machine learning to be effective, it requires a large base of users which is a position that Google is naturally in thanks to their wide reach.

Google also announced wireless headphones, called Pixel Buds. But he doesn't know you're a driver or a passenger right now. A recent update brings in some Android Oreo features and functionalities to the launcher. For example, saying "Good morning" to Google Assistant can simultaneously turn on the lights, increase the thermostat temperature, and begin outlining the user's day via Google Calendar. In addition to helping with translations, the Assistant can place phone calls, get directions and give you alerts at your command.
