Kylian Mbappe sent a parting message to Monaco supporters claiming "false information" led them to boo him during his last game at the club.
The French worldwide was booed by his old fans while he sat on the bench during Ligue 1 champions Monaco's 6-1 thrashing of Marseille, their last game before Mbappe left for title rivals PSG.
The teenage sensation joined his hometown club from Monaco on loan, with a compulsory purchase option at the end of the season, believed to be in the region of €180 million.
"I had given my priority to Monaco, but certain things happened", Mbappe told reporters at the Parc des Princes.
"When I heard their opinions regarding why he wants to move to Paris, I accepted them and we began hard and tiresome negotiations with PSG", he said.
"He is an additional advantage", he said.
"Legally, I think the club is violating the Professional Football Charter", Bertrand told AFP.
As to what had motivated him to leave the reigning champions, who like PSG have won their first four games of the season, he added: "For me it was the project that was going to allow me to develop, to learn while winning".
"I had the opportunity to talk with the coach, how he wanted to use me, ' he said".
"It's putting everything in place to make that goal more than possible and that's important to me".
After splashing out 222 million euros for Neymar, PSG concluded a complicated deal for Mbappe which prompted UEFA to announce a day later that it was looking into whether the club had broken financial fair play rules.
"I'm an ambitious player who always wants to improve".
"I'm starving for trophies and I want to win year after year, starting right now".
