Mi Mix 2 to launch on 11 September

Out sooner, and no doubt for a fraction of the price, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 looks like a very viable option if you're in the market for a new smartphone.While Xiaomi doesn't now retail its products in the United Kingdom or U.S., rumours have circulated that the brand will launch on British soil come 2018, with any luck.

The co-founder of Xiaomi, Lin Bin, on Friday, posted a teaser image of the Mi Note 3.

Barely 24 hours after we covered the leaked specification details of the Mi Note 3, live images of its retail box have been posted online. That's because the previous Mi Note 2 was launched a year ago alongside the original Mi Mix. According to him, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is essentially a larger version of the company's flagship Mi6. Apart from that, it also looks like the Mi Note 3 will have glass back, giving it bit of a more premium feel. There are no more specifications revealed about this phone.

Mi Mix 2 and Mi Note 3 Teasers Released: With the launch of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 a day before the Cupertino giants September 12 event by looking to steal Apple thunder, the Chinese smartphone maker has already begun posting teasers of the upcoming bezel less smartphone. Going by the teaser, Mi Note 3, the successor of the last year's Mi Note 2, will come in three colours - two shades of blue and the third one will be black. Even though we don't its actual release date, Xiaomi is expected to launch it during the Christmas Holidays. It will also be bigger than Mi 6 and is rumored to come with 5.7-inch QHD curved AMOLED display. Rumours suggest that it will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor and will be backed by a 4070mAh, which will be non-removable battery. It will come either with 4 GB, 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. The phone will run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS with the latest version of MIUI 9 on top.

How much will the Mi Note 3 cost? The back part showed the alleged dual-camera setup. The 6GB RAM variant is expected to be priced around $599 which roughly translates to Rs 38,893. The smartphone may throttle by Snapdragon 835 chipset which further coupled with Adreno 540 GPU and two variants of RAM i:e 6GB and 8GB.
