Researchers at IHS Markit (Nasdaq: INFO) tore apart the new phones and determined that Apple's total cost to make the iPhone 8 Plus is $295.44, $17.78 higher than that of the iPhone 7 Plus. Apple claims that the battery on the iPhone X can last up to two hours longer than the iPhone 7.

According to IHS Markit, Apple paid $237.94 to manufacture last year's iPhone 7, but that device was priced at $649, rendering a pre-assembly profit of $411.06. The research firm told about its analysis to Bloomberg. This is a great feature that makes the viewing experience on my iPhone 8 Plus a dramatic improvement over that on the iPhone 7 Plus.

Apart from that, the certification site also showed us what might be the actual sizes of the storage spaces expected to launch with the new iPhones.

The processor of the smartphone is similar, the A11 Bionic, which also features on the new iPhone X as well as an HD retina display and a 12MP camera.

As we all know that aluminium is much stronger than glass so it is much easier to crack the back of the iPhone 8.

The most obvious example is the iPhone X and its $1,000 price tag, but the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus also received modest price bumps this year.

AppleInsider speculates that the larger battery on the iPhone X might have been necessary to power the handset's TrueDepth camera system up front. The screen has a super retina display with OLED technology. After blowing the cover of the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, China's Tenaa reveals and finally confirms the 2716mAh cell, 3GB RAM and 2.4GHz A11 Bionic details of the 5.8-inch "edge-to-edge" model. The screen and the glass on the backside of the phone are both much more durable and less likely to scratch and crack, which is a development that was needed years ago.

It's been 10 years since the first iPhone came out and in all that time the battery hasn't improved too significantly.

On a cloudy day, the Note 8 produces better contrast, but the iPhone 8 Plus takes a better photo overall by livening up a dreary day compared to the surprisingly dark photos from Galaxy Note 8.
