A day after the launch of Honor V9 Play in China, Huawei Today launched a new budget phone Honor 6 Play in China. Honor 6 Play will be available in China for CNY 599, which is just Rs. 5,900 approx. The onboard storage is limited to 16GB which can be extended further with a microSD card slot. It sports a 5.2-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass, indicating its intention of being a budget-friendly smartphone. The Honor V9 Play comes with 32 GB of internal storage and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box atop Honors EMUI 5.1. The phone takes the advantage of either 3GB RAM or 4GB RAM, depending upon the model you choose. A 3000mAh battery is present in this smartphone. They coupled it with Mali T860 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit).
The phone supports dual SIM and is backed by 3020mAh battery. It features a fingerprint scanner at the back but unlike more expensive designs does not feature the moulded signal antenna at the rear. On the front, you will find an 8MP shooter with standard f/2.2 aperture optics. To recall Huawei yesterday launched its Honor V9 play smartphone in China.
Honor 6 Play, the dual SIM supporting smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737T SoC clocked at 1.4GHz united with 2GB of RAM.
Other Honor V9 Pro features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, and GLONASS. The price of Honor 6 play in India will be around 5K to 6K. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also a part of this package, and the Honor 6 Play measures 143.8 x 72 x 8.85mm, and weighs 150 grams. Honor V9 Play comes in Gold, Rose Gold, Red, Blue and Black color options.
The Honor 6 Play has a 5-inch 720p display with an 8 MP primary camera and a 5 MP selfie camera.
