THE GOOGLE PIXEL 2 has fallen victim to yet another leak ahead of its October unveiling, confirming its "Active Edge" functionality and expanded Google Assistant functionality. The Pixel 2 XL will come in two color options, according to the report: all black and a combination of black and white.
In other news, it has been confirmed by papers that the XL (larger) version of the new Pixel devices will be manufactured by LG.
I actually love the look of this new device, if these are accurate leaks, and will look forward to checking it out in person.
What are you most looking forward to seeing Google unveil? It appears as though all of Google's potential surprises have been spoiled, but we still don't know the official specifications of the new phones, so that's one reason to tune in to the event on October 4th.
You might be able to add more voices to control certain things. Hoping to give the Amazon Echo Dot some direct competition, Google looks like it's rolling out the Home Mini, which is a smaller, cuter take on the Google Home if DroidLife's leak is anything to go by. However, we are learning that the new Daydream View headset that will receive a bump in price to $100 (compared to the $80 that its predecessor was launched at). Just like the original Home, the new Home Mini will be available in multiple different colors: Chalk, Charcoal, and Coral. This feature also allows various smart products around the home to interact using Google Assistant. The hand-friendly controller is also making a return and will most likely reside in an interior compartment found along the front flap.
