Derek Fisher confirms he will be on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Tune in for the live premiere of Dancing with the Stars Season 25 Monday, September 18 8|7c on ABC.

Host Tom Bergeron was on hand Wednesday to help make the announcement. His pro partner, Cheryl Burke, has made an exciting return to DWTS for her 20th season! It is an anniversary season for Dancing With the Stars - season 25 - and for me, ' Burke stated.

"He's a performer so I'm definitely going to use that to my advantage", she said.

Terrell Owens will join the new season of Dancing With The Stars. Owens, a six-time Pro Bowl victor, is set to hit the stage with dance partner Cheryl Burke, who already has some experience turning National Football League pros into dancing champs.

Joining Owens for this season are former National Basketball Association star Derek Fisher, actor-singer Jordan Fisher, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, violinist Lindsey Stirling, Frankie Muniz, and former Paralympic swimmer Victoria Arlen.

Male celebrities and their partners include: singer-actor Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold; former National Basketball Association player and coach Derek Fisher; Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson; and Scott and Emma Slater. And "GMA" reminded Nick that younger brother Drew won the Mirror Ball trophy in the second season in 2006.

Vanessa Lachey & Maksim Chmerkovskiy - The show was going to pass up pairing married Stars against married pros.

Other TV personalities who will be vying for the Mirrorball include the previously mentioned Drew Scott (with Emma Slater), actor Frankie Muniz (with Witney Carson), and Pretty Little Liars' Sasha Pieterse (with Gleb Savchenko).

Fans will get to see if Shark Tank investor Barbara Corcoran's instincts are as good on the dance floor as they are in the tank when she performs with Keo Motsepe.

Owens has been partnered up with Cheryl Burke.
