Bills RB good to go vs. Jets

The game is in Buffalo, so the Bills have that advantage, and they also are a little bit more settled than the Jets right now.

The New York Jets and Buffalo Bills are scheduled to play their first of two games against each other on Sunday. We're not even counting Chan Gailey, who joined the Green & White after serving as Bills head coach from 2010-12. It's McDermott's head coaching debut and there will be growing pains. They had eight first downs, compared to zero for the Jets.

McDermott and offensive coordinator Rick Dennison are in their first year with the team as well.

The Jets didn't manage a first down until just over four minutes into the second quarter, and had possession for only 4:15 of the first quarter, going three-and-out on their first two attempts. But Buffalo selected Zay Jones in the second round of the 2017 draft, signed Andre Holmes and acquired Jordan Matthews in a trade with Philadelphia. Now, there are still a lot of questions regarding Taylor and his long-term outlook with the Bills organization, but the team seems to feel confident that he can be an impact player in this offense.

Lorenzo Alexander, LeSean McCoy, Richie Incognito, and Tyrod Taylor look to continue their journeys and cement a legacy in Buffalo. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor completed 16 of 28 passes for 224 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

However, according to multiple sources, "T-Mobile" is fully healthy and will indeed start. In total, he carried the ball three times for 27 years.

The Jets defense has the potential to be decent.

We are finally getting back to football on Sunday. It capped a 12-play, 77-yard drive that featured both LeSean McCoy and Mike Tolbert who accounted for 58 of the yards gained. The consistently stellar half back will obviously be the key to the Bills winning this game. But Jets coach Todd Bowles chose to go with Hackenberg instead.

Find a ground game: The ground game for NY was decent in 2016, but they have to make sure to go with the better player. "Unfortunately for them, the rebuild started two years too late, and they know that".

Josh McCown is 38 years old and has been in the league since 2002. Having said that, if an offense lead by Josh McCown came out and made them look bad it would be a long season ahead. The way it was said, it leads you to believe that the Bills will open the floodgates for Taylor and will utilize his mobility the way it likely should be.

Buffalo has been busy transforming its roster through trades - receiver Sammy Watkins and Ronald Darby were moved in separate deals on August 11 - to stockpile draft picks. He was traded for EJ Gaines in the offseason.
