PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is getting an FOV slider and dedicated first-person servers

The game mode is sometimes referred to as "hardcore", though nothing actually changes other than the player's in-game perspective.

Nobody can doubt the popularity of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, as the PC title's unique Battle Royale structure has captivated millions of gamers all over the world even while in Steam's Early Access program.

Which is good news for all you first-person fanatics.

Implementing a mode that is strictly played from a first-person perspective should do a lot to make the game much more tactical, especially in duo and squad modes. Furthermore, Bluehole has been experimenting with a first-person mode, which will also be coming in its next monthly update. Because the camera can be rotated in third-person, this allows players to peek around cover without putting themselves at-risk.

The first-person restricted servers will be included in the next monthly update for the game, which shouldn't be too far away, as the July update has yet to drop.

First person in PUBG is a little more daunting than third person as the view point constrains what you can see, naturally.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, the hit multiplayer survival sensation on PC, will be getting a new update later this month that will be adding a long requested feature to it at last- an FOV slider.
