Taylor Swift Resurfaces to Congratulate the NBA's Newest MVP Russell Westbrook

And now, the rest of the National Basketball Association is getting their chance to get their hands on a few trophies.

After a historic season, Russell Westbrook was named NBA's Most Valuable Player.

Westbrook then turned his attention to his brother Raynard, who Westbrook said has sent him a supportive text at halftime of every game of his National Basketball Association career. It's been a wild 12 months between Durant, the city of Oklahoma and the teammates that remained with the Thunder, most notably Russell Westbrook. "You keep me in check through good and through bad", he said while becoming choked up.

Fans might be confused by this, but trust me when I tell you that it makes sense.

"I remember the first time you beat me at basketball and I was very upset, and you said - if you remember correctly - you said, 'You just have to shake it off, ' and I got an idea", the singer continued, referencing the title of her hit 2014 single.

Westbrook averaged a triple-double for the season and he broke Oscar Robertson's record with 42 triple-doubles.

He also won the Game Winner of the Year award, another fans' choice award, for his winning 36-foot jumper to defeat Denver, 106-105, at the buzzer.

The Thunder's Victor Oladipo won the fan award for the "Dunk of The Year". "Obviously. So, that's why I'm part of your congratulations video, because we go back, what, 20 years?" Williams made an encouraging eulogy during his wife Ingrid's funeral. But it will work out because God causes all things to work out. You can't give in. And America teaches us to just numb that and it's not true. All you gotta do is look around you. "I've gone the last four years. We are forever grateful".
