Tyler Posey Just Booked his First Post-'Teen Wolf' Role!

According to the reports, Tyler will be playing ~someone~ from Jane's past, leading many to suspect he'll be taking on the role of Jane's first love.

The CW romantic comedy series "Jane the Virgin" is set to welcome Tyler Posey as a new cast member.

Tyler Posey has just wrapped filming on the sixth and final season of MTV's "Teen Wolf", and voiced Prince Alonso in an ep of "Elena of Avalor".

If you've never seen Jane The Virgin before, here's the low down: Jane Villanueva, religious and traditional family girl, is accidentally artificially inseminated during a routine check up. The comic drama - which aired episode 15 on 27 March - is now on a hiatus, and will not be airing any new episodes for the next two weeks.

Posey will appear in a multi-episode arc as someone from Jane's past.

Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni), meanwhile, is not likely to be Posey's character's competition for Jane's heart. It should give Posey a chance to show off a completely new side, and on a show with a devoted fan following, no less.

Aired on March 27, the Narrator even started to mention something about Jane's first love in the said "Jane the Virgin" episode. All we know for now is that Posey will make his debut in the season three finale before showing up again next fall. His first appearance will be in the upcoming Season 3 finale.

Jane The Virgin airs season 3 episode 16 on CW on 24 April at 9pm EST.

Tyler Posey is trading in the supernatural world of Beacon Hills for the sunny skies and attractive beaches of Miami!
