Thibaut Courtois: 'Chelsea thriving on pressure of topping Premier League table'

Marcel Desailly expects Jose Mourinho to be extra motivated for tomorrow's clash between Manchester United and Chelsea, after feeling hurt by the chants of a section of Chelsea fans when the teams last met.

The Spanish global was determined to rejoin former club Atletico last summer but Antonio Conte convinced him to stay.

Conte dismissed suggestions United would be more focused on their Europa League quarter-final against Anderlecht, saying top four was still possible.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa is enjoying his "beautiful" partnership with playmaker Eden Hazard and hopes he could play with the Belgian for a long time.

"In this type of game it's important to prepare your team to face every situation - tactical, physical or mental".

"Well, this season Chelsea have beaten us two times and, obviously, we don't want that to happen a third time - we want to win", Pogba told MUTV.

Such an outcome is far from Carrick's mind, with the midfielder scoffing at the suggestion that Sunday's match against leaders Chelsea offers them a chance to lay down an important marker for next season.

Conte, on the other hand, has sought to play down any suggestion of tension between himself and Mourinho, adding that Sunday's encounter must just be seen as another sporting competition between the two and their respective clubs.

Costa, 28, left Atletico Madrid for Stamford Bridge in 2014 and won the title with the Blues in his debut season in west London. In his press conference on Friday, Conte called the question about which United players would get into this Chelsea team "not a good question" and dismissed the rumors about his own future as "not news [.] just noise".

50 - this will be the 50th time the sides have met in the Premier League, Chelsea winning 17 and United 13 with 19 draws.

"When you get to 34 and 35 it is not about improving". "I think he's a great player now, a top player".
