The Walking Dead promotes Nacon, Ogg, McIntosh to series regulars

Don't forget that Andrew J. West (Gareth) was promoted to series regular ahead of TWD Season 5, and his Gareth only made it through a few episodes of that season.

With the start of the next season, three actors filled their spots as regulars in "The Walking Dead" Season 8.

Among the many things fans disliked in Season 7 was Jadis and the Heapsters who drew criticism from fans with many critics calling the group's introduction "the dumbest thing about Season 7".

TV Line reports we'll be seeing more from Negan's right-hand man Simon (Steven Ogg), Carl's crush Enid (Katelyn Nacon) and Scavengers leader Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh). Where Simon's mustache goes, we follow! Whether you loved that sudden switch or not, you'll be seeing more of the eccentric mercenary in season 8.

The fourth run of the Walking Dead companion series, from AMC Studios, will have Scott M Gimple, showrunner of the original series, attached as executive producer.

The Walking Dead Season 8 will apparently focus on the war between the Saviors, led by Negan, and Rick's alliance. And with Maggie's baby on the way and fearless Sasha in the ground, Enid looks like a good bet for big sister/junior-leader-in-training material, rather than just Carl's crush, Judith's sometime nanny and Hilltop's healthy-meal maker.

Steven Yeun and Michael Cudlitz's character Glenn and Abraham, gave fans too much grief upon their gruesome death in the hands of Negan.

"Fear the Walking Dead" season 3 will premiere on June 4, Sunday.

Now there's more for you to care about (or hate, depending on which side you're rooting for) in The Walking Dead. Losing three big characters from the show has created a gap, but never fear, replacements are on the way...

According to Variety, all these characters will have expanded roles in season eight - which was perhaps expected for Jadis following her betrayal in the season finale.
