Thanks to her ever popular designs, which have been worn by the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet and Eva Longoria, she went on to win the Best Brand prize at the British Fashion Awards in both 2011 and 2014.

"I'm proud to be British", she said in a statement.

Victoria, was supported by her parents Jackie and Tony, who followed in a auto behind the star as they made their way into the palace, as well as husband David Beckham, who received his OBE 13 years prior.

Victoria was seen being driven through the gates of the palace in one auto while her proud mother Jackie and dad Tony followed behind, waving at the crowds.

Paralympic swimmer Bethany Firth, who won three golds and one silver in the pool at the Rio Olympics last year, will also be recognised with an MBE, as will master craftsman Tom Young, who has been glassblowing for more than 60 years.

"If you dream big and work hard you can accomplish great things", she added.

The 43-year-old said afterwards: "It was an absolute pleasure to be at Buckingham Palace today". The alleged emails expressed anger over having missed out on a knighthood. The couple's four children did not attend.

Instead Romeo took to Instagram to celebrate his mother.

Captioning a photo of Victoria receiving her award, he wrote: "I want to say how proud I am of my mum today as she received her OBE".

Prince William gave out the honor in place of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

David was the first family member to receive an OBE 13 years ago for his contribution to football.
