UConn receives top overall seed in NCAA Tournament, full bracket released

Tennessee continues its appearance streak of being included in all 36 NCAA Division I women's tournaments since it was held for the first time in 1982.

Freshman sensation, Lonzo Ball, will lead third seeded UCLA against 14 seeded Kent State.

Each of those teams won its conference tournament this past week, something the Tar Heels failed to do after falling to Duke in the ACC Semifinals.

Purdue is the fourth seed in this region.

The Huskies are an overwhelming favorite to capture their 12th national championship. Arizona (+900) went 4-0 SU and ATS in the Pac-12 Tournament and knocked off both UCLA (+1200) and OR (+2200) to claim the conference title. No. 13 seed Belmont in the second round in the Lexington regional. "The Dukies are already taking 10 percent of all bets to win it all and anyone who bet them earlier this year at 20/1 received great odds". Spectacular freshman De'Aaron Fox and guard Malik Monk are the Wildcats biggest assets and will need to be active if they want to advance. "We always heard how we lost Stewie, Tuck and Mo". The Orange beat the Huskies in the Final Four a year ago, for those who may have forgotten. On Saturday, they showed that when they play Villanova basketball, they are very tough to beat. The Jayhawks have been a March Madness betting disappointment since winning the 2008 national championship, failing to reach the Sweet Sixteen in two of the past three years, but are unbeaten SU in their last 10 first-round appearances, going 6-4 ATS. Kansas has been at or near the top of the rankings for the majority of the season, which is why it was a shock to see them lose to TCU last week. So Ohio State doesn't get a home game, but they won't have to travel at all if they make it to second weekend of the tournament. Also a 15 seed, JSU will face of against the Louisville Cardinals in the Midwest region.

The Huskies face 16th-seed Albany (21-11), the champions of the America East conference, in the opening round.

Two, with Duke's status as one of the most-hated teams in America, the Trojans - by default - will have more fans than ever by tipoff Friday.

Duke will host 15th-seeded Hampton (20-12). "The Greenville site is only one of two NCAA first-round sites (Kansas City being the other) posting sell-outs as of this afternoon".
