SNL, Scarlett Johansson Mock Ivanka Trump with 'Complicit' Perfume Ad

However, the plan, perhaps unsurprisingly fails to work. The show's comedic barbs targeting Trump have been so on point that in October 2016 Trump stunningly demanded that the iconic show be cancelled.

The Trump character is skeptical when told that the invaders are from the planet Zorblat-9.

"I've actually heard Zorblatt 9 is very lovely, very fantastic", he croons.

- When he tried to summon up a racially-charged deflection for his potential Zorblatt 9 business ties by decreeing that two black soldiers be investigated instead of him, and he couldn't spell or say "hereby": "I hairby demand".

The space-bound narrative marked a departure from previous skits, but felt necessary as audiences faced Baldwin's impersonation for the fifth time since the presidential election in November 2016.

The fake commercial took aim at Ivanka's recent initiatives to help women in the workplace by pushing for legislation related to child care and paid maternity leave.

When a soldier hears the Trump character call Zorblat-9 "very attractive, very fantastic", a mortified soldier says: "Oh, my God". They've been hiding in this country for hundreds of years, it's a fact. His Trump is, it turns out, very bad at coping with an alien (as in space alien) invasion, as one might expect.

"I like Trump. He's my man", he proclaims. "Really? This is going to be so easy!" they cry.

His latest appearance features Trump giving a pep talk during an alien invasion, and it may be the least memorable of the season.

Baldwin has already signalled that his time impersonating the president is numbered, recently telling Extra TV: "The maliciousness of this White House has people very anxious, which is why I'm not going to do it much longer, by the way, the impersonation".

People took to Twitter to criticize the show's portrayal of Ivanka.

And now, it seems that actress Scarlett Johansson has also had a go at seeing if she can piss off the President enough to warrant a Tweet submitted by his teeny-tiny hand.

"She's a woman who knows what she wants, and knows what she's doing", the voiceover says.

The mock ad spot for her brand's "Complicit" scent shows Johansson in a perfume commercial that checks off all the boxes: Alluring outfit, glamorous ambiance and slow motion shots.
