Capcom goes retro with the announcement of The Disney Afternoon Collection

Six classic Disney games are being rereleased as a new bundle dubbed The Disney Afternoon Collection. Got it? Okay, well, if you said anything other than Yoshihiro Sakaguchi's "The Moon" from the DuckTales video game for NES, then I am sorry to inform you that you are wrong. The titular heroes and supporting cast Monterey Jack, Gadget, and Zipper must stop Fat Cat from his evil dream of world domination!

The Disney Afternoon Collection is sure to make every retro gamer exceedingly happy.

In addition to remastered graphics, the games possess some swanky new features. Rewind cannot be used in Boss Rush or Time Attack modes.

The compilation includes emulated versions of six classic Capcom games for the NES, all presented in their original format while giving players access to a variety of presentation options.

TaleSpin - Players take control of Baloo in this shoot 'em up and take to the skies. Just like Rare Replay, the museum provides gamers with a wealth of content which released with the original games.

Take the "HD makeover" with a pinch of salt, but they're all going to be brushed-up and bolstered with new features, such as Boss Rush, where you fight bosses one after another, and time attack.

Old school Disney classics Duck Tales, TaleSpin, Chip N Dale and Darkwing Duck return in the Disney Afternoon Collection. Those who have the fastest times will be placed on an online leaderboard. There will also be a Rewind feature, which will allow players to rewind the game by holding down a button if they mess up. The collection will be out April 18th on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and will run you just $20.
