Chris Christie rips Phillies, who deliver ultimate comeback

Just one month after calling Eagles fans "angry, terrible people, " Christie - a Mets fan - was on SportsNet New York on Wednesday night and said this about the Phillies. With a smile on his face, Christie called Phillies fans "awful people", ignoring the fact that, you know, many Phillies fans actually live in New Jersey. A noted Dallas Cowboys fan, Christie has said Eagles fans "suck" and are "angry, very bad people".

That's when Christie, who is reportedly interested in becoming a sports talk show host once his tenure as governor ends next year, went full Skip Bayless, blasting Phillies fans as "awful people". McGraw made that phrase famous when he played for the New York Mets in the early 1970s. They're interested. But the hostility, I will tell you that I take for being a Cowboys fan - and this is what I say to Giants fans all the time, and Eagles fans.

Chris Christie is back at it again, attacking Philadelphia. Neither Christie nor his attorney attended the second probable cause hearing two weeks ago or Thursday's hearing. "My view is, I have got a job to do as governor, and then my intention is to go off to the private sector and to help support my family".

Responding to today's ruling, Christie's press secretary, Brian Murray, said McGready "is violating the law, pure and simple" in furthering a "concocted" claim.

He's also been hard at work aggravating Philadelphia sports fans. Christie is a Mets fan. The member station adds, "The complaint accuses the governor of failing to stop subordinates from purposely creating traffic jams to punish a Democratic mayor who didn't endorse him". "I've said it since I've ran for Governor in '09, never hid it from anybody, and so, I don't understand why they're angry about me being happy about my team winning?"
