Unlike many betas, there won't be any timed console exclusivity for this one.
Carve a path of destruction through the battlefield fighting for guts, glory, and survival in For Honor, a new melee action game developed by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with other Ubisoft studios.
Following last year's alpha test, a multiplayer beta for swordfighting game For Honor will take place over the course of four days later this month, Ubisoft announced today. It won't just let us try out the three different factions, but it'll also give us a taste of War of the Factions.
Get ready to clash steel in a samurai, knights and Vikings three-way, as there's a For Honor closed beta coming on January 26. Players will be rewarded for participating, and the winning faction will also receive an award. Once For Honor officially releases, these can be redeemed and you can "adorn your weapons and armor with their distinction".
Ubisoft will be hosting a War of the Factions event alongside the beta which will track all platforms and see which faction performs the best. Both sets of rewards will transfer over to the full game if you choose to purchase it.
