Honey G Eliminated From X Factor Following Controversial Stage Invasion

They planned the prank and chose Honey G because she is the entertaining act of the show, Daily Mail reports. Naturally, it was a pretty dramatic results show, although I can't say that the end result was all that surprising.

The divisive "rapper" Honey G finally departed The X Factor 2016 tonight after landing in the bottom two for a second week.

Honey didn't exactly have the easiest time during her performance on Saturday. "I think I may have picked up street lingo being on the underground music scene and it's become part of my personality".

Notoriously negative judge Cowell was not a fan of Honey G to begin with, but she won him over, making his decision to send her packing a hard one. A prankster group called Trollstation later took credit for the stage invasion.

The singer, whose real name is Anna Georgette Gilford, failed to impress as she performed Tupac Shakur's California Love which featured her trademark "When I say honey, you say G" chant.

Honey G has waved goodbye to her X Factor fans after being sent home from the show in the latest episode.

That said, throughout, and for reasons this pilgrim can not fathom, The X Factor collective seems to have been promoting the blue bejesus out of Honey G from the outset...

"He wanted to see if I was OK, he just asked me if I was alright".

The novelty rapper has denied she is faking it, stating: "There is nothing fake about me".

"I know the team really well now, we get on really well and we're all friends, so it would be lovely to be signed by them because the relationship is already in place".

Sending you lots of love, lady.

"We did not disrupt her performance and waited until she had finished".

Honey has no hard feelings towards the show despite not making it to next week's semi-finals.

Simon, who has made no secret of the fact he thinks she's a star, merely grinned and said: "We don't make any decisions until after the show". "I've grown up on the underground scene".
