Originally, the PlayStation 4 version of Bethesda's popular role-playing game was supposed to receive the same mod support featured in the Xbox One version. Occasional crashing problems were also addressed as well as the reported problem with the Library/ Favorite Mods categories, which were incorrectly displayed at times.
Be sure to stay tuned for more "Fallout 4" PlayStation 4 mods news and updates. Their wait is over now, as update 1.12 hits PS4 consoles and brings with it modding functionality. Bethesda did say that the PS4 MODS are plugins only and no archives will be permitted.
The PS4 mods are coming to the game via Update 1.8. Even with these put downs, the players and fans of the game are not discouraged.
This whole mods business between Bethesda and Sony has been pretty nasty up until recently.
One Reddit user claimed that the unlimited ammo and supplies are the only great features that can be modified for the PS4 but other than that there's nothing else worth using with the mod support.
Fallout 4 version 1.8 is already available for PC.
Sony did what they could to try and ruin Fallout 4 on the PS4 but thankfully they haven't been able to ruin the experience altogether. Another Fallout 4 crash issue was fixed where a mod has an unspecific data structure.
Besides the lack of console deals, there are also no details on upcoming deals on popular video games.
