September 27: The death toll in the bus accident at Marpak in Nepal's Dhading district has reached to 19, after another passenger succumbed to injuries at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) here on Tuesday.
Mr Parajuli said rescuers had arrived at the scene of the accident.
Ramesh Dhamala, who was coordinating rescue efforts, said the left wheel of the bus slipped off the road and pulled down the whole vehicle.
It slipped off the mountain road near Lapang Phedi village and rolled about 300 meters before stopping on the banks of a river, Associated Press has reported.
The cause of the accident was not immediately known but the country's police believed it could be the result of a combination of an overloaded bus and the steep gravelled road.
