Will Apple name the next model iPhone 7?

The company's own guidance forecasts that revenue will be down from the same time past year.

In terms of specifications, the iPhone 7 is set to have the dimensions of 138.3 by 67.1 by 7.1 millimeters, along with Nano-SIm with Apple Pay capabilities. That provocative headline we posted was based on, you guessed it, a report coming out of Asia that Apple would beat estimates based on supplier build up. The leaked pictures suggest that iPhone 7 series will be carrying a dual-lens camera, which means the pictures will have DSLR quality. This included a small 4-inch iPhone 7, a 4.7-inch iPhone 7 Plus, and a large 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Pro model.

This year, there could be a big difference between the two. In comparison the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus could be seen sporting a single camera. According to Forbes, the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro will vary in sizes with the last one to be the biggest in the series. The pixel density for iPhone 7 Plus models will be 401ppi, while for iPhone 7 standard model, it'll be 326ppi.

Ultimately, they think Apple has an "annuity business model delivered as hardware hits" and that it is "increasingly important to recognize Apple as a platform company". Apple Inc. launched its iPhone SE and iPad Pro 9.7 inch on March 31, 2016 in Japan. Apple could also use dual rear cameras for better dynamic range and colour reproduction.

We've known for a while that Apple is projected to launch the next iPhone in September, but no other specifics were available before despite the plethora of leaks that have reached the web lately. However, Apple could fine-tune the highly criticised antenna lines.

Whether these leaked images turn out to be true or not remains to be seen. There is still a high possibility that it will be revealed in September if the Cupertino-based company is far behind their schedule.

Unfortunately there's no shot of the lower part of the back of the phone, where the Smart Connector pins ought to be if Apple makes that one of this handset's features. Apple is likely to offer compatible EarPods and also an adaptor for using traditional earphones with the 3.5mm jack.

The eight-second clip features three color versions of the iPhone 7 Pro: gray, rose gold, and silver. A space black and a deep blue. The physical home button is also rumored to be removed.

This would not only facilitate a cleaner looking design but a more reliable button as in the past, iPhones have had the tendency to have faulty home-buttons.

However, the whispers have gone quiet since analysts began predicting that this year's release won't be a major leap forward from the iPhone 6S.

The iPhone 7 Plus is expected to arrive with the A10 processor and it is rumoured to upping the RAM to 3GB.
