The only interesting nugget revealed on this date is that Jordan reveals to JoJo that he doesn't have much of a relationship with his brother, some dope named Aaron Rodgers, which worries Ms. Fletcher because, like, "Family is so important!" Turns out that will definitely not happen because, as Jordan explained during the episode, he and Aaron are estranged - to the point where he's not even sure Aaron knows he's on the show.
JoJo feigned ignorance about which brother Jordan meant - like, girl, come on, you know who Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn are - but in the end she listened intently, took on his family drama, and the two had a grand ol' time.
Next up, JoJo gets to go on a date with a guy she actually likes (a lot) - frontrunner Jordan. "And, I chose to stay close to my family, and my parents, and my brother..." It's not ideal. I love him and I can't imagine what it's like to be in his shoes and the pressure he has, the demands from people that he has.
Sadly, JoJo just wasn't feeling a connection, and broke up with Alex by saying, "When you tell me that you're falling in love with me, I don't feel as excited as I should feel". Noticeably absent from the list, which, by the way, also included a French bulldog: Aaron (middle brother), whom Jordan said won't be there. James, meanwhile, admitted that he's nervous because JoJo had more of a physical relationship with the other guys compared to him, but JoJo assured him that he had all the qualities she wanted in a husband or father to her children. Jordan Rodgers sacked his brother, who has taken a hit or two on the field the past few seasons, pretty hard the other night.
Jordan: "I don't think so".
"Bachelorette" front-runner and hair coif connoisseur, Jordan Rodgers, has made a play to be his own man, for once.
Later in the night, Alex told JoJo that he's falling in love with her, but she couldn't reciprocate the feeling.
So far, Aaron has kept quiet about his relationship with his family, though his silence has also been noteworthy.
Jordan delivers the black rose of the conversation: He and Aaron are just not that close. But considering the type of men JoJo seems interested in, I wonder how many breakups she's initiated.
Jordan spouts a good line when he tells JoJo he can't wait for his mama to meet her, somehow making this a smooth moment to bring up the potential in-laws while they're hot and heavy in a hot tub. Who's sent home? And, who makes it to the final four? Jordan strips off his sweaty socks and they start stomping grapes with their feet, siphon some out, and then chug it. Mmm foot juice just like mom used to make.
According to Washington Post, Jordan revealed to JoJo that playing football did not define him. Sources say she and Robby were really serious until he dumped her before filming The Bachelorette. "I can't express to you enough how ready I am for this, for you and for us". Not having a great relationship with my brother Aaron, or what people think that relationship should be, didn't define me.
It airs Monday at 8 p.m. on City.
