Youth arrested for school false bomb threat

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office is responding to a possible bomb threat at Salisbury Middle School Tuesday morning.

West High was being used as a polling station for Tuesday's Johnson County Supervisor special election, but had to be moved due to the evacuation, according to a news release from the Johnson County Auditor's Office.

Someone left a voice mail at the school about 3:30 p.m. Monday, said Pasco County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Melanie Snow, though nobody was in the building because of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Isaiah Wells, 14, was charged with making a false report about planting a bomb at Pine View Middle School in Land O Lakes, a second degree felony, according to sheriff's records.

Davis had no information on the type of call, weather live or automated, and could provide no further details.

The threat was discovered on the boy's Instagram account.

Delaware schools were not exempt from these threats.

Adams, a secretary for the district, said staff was evacuated, and the police are on scene investigating.
