Broncos face Panthers in Super Bowl

After Sunday's 20-18 loss to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game, Belichick said, "I want to congratulate Denver on an AFC Championship". Pulling within two points at 20-18 and 12 seconds left, the Patriots went for the 2-point conversion. The Broncos recovered the onside kick and the celebration began.

ESPN.com reported that Super Bowl favorites are 32-17 through the years, and that Las Vegas has lost money on just two of the past 26 Super Bowls - the New York Giants' 2008 upset win over the Patriots and San Francisco 49ers' blowout of the San Diego Chargers in 1995.

Standing in their way is Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers (17-1), who throttled the, Arizona Cardinals 49-15 to reach their first Super Bowl.

With Manning's Broncos coming away with a thrilling two-point victory over Brady's Patriots, the Taiwanese animation creators had some fun putting together a pretty weird recap. After holding one of the NFL's best offenses to just 12 points through nearly the entire game, Denver's D heads into the Super Bowl a justifiably confident bunch.

Whether it's been Manning lining up under center, or Brock Osweiler, who took snaps while Manning was injured for six weeks, the Broncos have depended on a defense that gave up the fewest yards in the NFL. Meanwhile, the Broncos harassed Brady into a 27-for-56 day for 310 yards and two picks. At one point, the Cardinals had turnovers on three consecutive plays: a fumbled punt, Palmer's fumble, and Kurt Coleman's first of two picks.

That's far above past Super Bowl ticket prices immediately following the conference championship games. "We wanted to keep the pressure on".

Denver quarterback Peyton Manning's up-and-down season includes a remarkable twist that has the five-time NFL MVP back in the Super Bowl.

That is a reference to Manning, who is 1-2 in past Super Bowls.

"It's not just one individual's fault", Gronkowski said.

It shouldn't come as a major surprise that the AFC Championship-possibly the last matchup between Manning and Patriots QB Tom Brady-generated huge ratings.

DeMarcus Ware added seven hits on Brady, including a sandwich sack with Miller, and Derek Wolfe set the early tone with a huge, jaw-rattling hit, a batted down pass and a sack. New England's Tom Brady (31) surpassed Adam Vinatieri (30) for the most games played in National Football League playoff history.

Manning threw two touchdown passes in the first half while Brady was throwing two interceptions, and that proved enough.

Manning started from the Patriots 16 and missed Sanders, in the end, zone, but found Owen Daniels on the next play with a flawless pass and route by the tight end.

The best tight end in the game had fallen victim to the mile-high air and a bad case of the cramps.
